The A600 Talon Governor provides a high performing compact low weight engine speed governing system for the Rotorway Talon A600 helicopter.
It is designed to fit into the original Talon Governor slot without the need for an external box for the electronics.

The entire speed governing system is enclosed in a single aluminum alloy container. It is composed of an electronic board, a brushless motor and an epicycloid gear-box.
It operates by moving the accelerator lever together with the pilot and copilot accelerators.
A torque-limiter excludes the Talon Rotorway Governor operation if the pilot wants to manually override the Governor action.
It’s designed to accommodate strict system requirements for reliability and emissions area.
By reading the Fadec Canbus it’s able to know the engine load and to optimize the engine control also with abrupt maneuvers.
It automatically detects out of range RPM and disconnects itself in case of anomalies.
The RPM set can be chosen via the collective switches in step of 25 RPM (between ±5% of the nominal ).
A multicolor led on the collective grip allows the pilot to see the system status.
